![]() Purple Radio is an award-winning student radio station that broadcasts 24 hours a day during term time at Durham University in the North East of England. We have over 150 shows, 250 members and growing fast. We provide daytime entertainment shows, speech shows, daily news bulletins and specialist music shows in the evening. We are currently broadcasting live from Dunelm House during the duration of this term. Check out our webcams to see what is happening at Purple or our schedule to find out more about shows. Purple Radio is due to finish broadcasting on Friday 20th June after the most successful year of the station. Keep your eyes peeled for information on the Freshers Faire and our plans for next year. A big thank you to all those who helped with our Jam By The Lake mobile broadcast. This is the first time Purple has ever tried this in over 10 years of our existence and we thank all the DJs who were involved in this great event. At the moment, our crew are working on producing audio podcasts of the various acts that performed live, as well as a highlights.
